What’s New with Dan & Bill This May

Hey Everyone,

Dan here, with Bill chiming in too. We’ve got a few cool updates and personal bits to share as we roll into May. So, here’s the scoop straight from us.

This Mother’s Day, Bill and his little son James will be celebrating their second Mother’s Day with Corrie. The past year with James has been a blur of activity, growth, and excitement, anchored by Corrie’s steadfast caring, loving, and nurturing attitude. The sometimes-tiring days, followed by long nights of teething have not gone unnoticed and James and Bill would like to thank and celebrate Corrie for her endless dedication.

Dan is very thankful for the unending support his mom has given him throughout the years. Her passion is helping people, and she has always been there to help out whether it was helping with math in school or cleaning an apartment before a tenant was to move in she has shown lots of support throughout the years.

We are excited about the addition of a new member to the team!

Katrina has been in the building and development space for the entirety of her career. Formerly holding the positions of Development manager at JD Development Group and Vice President of Holland Homes she brings an immense amount of knowledge and experience to the team. She will be taking on the role of development manager and architectural designer for North Lakes, allowing us to bring two key pieces of the development process in house, speeding up our development timelines.

The first Garden Suite in Oshawa is complete!

We are thrilled with how it turned out. It fits in seamlessly with the surrounding buildings, which was one of our goals with this project.

We will be having an open house on May 18th 9-11AM, come check it out and see what can be done now in your backyard.

That’s it from us this month! Thanks for keeping up with our journey, and we’re pumped to catch up with some of you at the garden suite tour.

Catch you soon,

Dan and Bill

**Celebrating the Heart of Every Home: Mother’s Day Special**

Every year, on the second Sunday of May, a special day is dedicated to honoring the nurturing figures in our lives – our mothers. Mother’s Day is more than just a commercialized event; it’s a heartfelt opportunity to express gratitude, love, and appreciation for the women who have shaped us, cared for us, and loved us unconditionally.

**A Tribute to Motherhood**

Motherhood transcends biology. It’s a role defined by love, sacrifice, and unwavering support. Whether it’s a biological mother, a stepmother, an adoptive mother, or a grandmother assuming the role, the essence of motherhood remains constant – a beacon of strength and love.

Mothers are the unsung heroes of our lives. From the moment of conception, they embark on a journey filled with joy, challenges, and profound responsibilities. They nurture us through infancy, guide us through childhood, and support us as we navigate the complexities of adulthood. Their love knows no bounds, and their sacrifices often go unnoticed, yet they continue to give selflessly, shaping the very core of our beings.

**Honoring Motherhood**

Mother’s Day is an opportunity to pause and reflect on the invaluable contributions of these remarkable women. It’s a time to shower them with love, appreciation, and gratitude for all that they do. Whether through a heartfelt card, a bouquet of flowers, or a simple act of kindness, every gesture serves as a token of our deep appreciation for the women who have given us the gift of life and love.

But beyond the material gifts lies the true essence of Mother’s Day – spending quality time with the women who mean the world to us. Whether it’s a cozy brunch at home, a leisurely stroll in the park, or a heartfelt conversation over a cup of tea, the simple act of being present speaks volumes. It’s about cherishing the moments we share, creating lasting memories, and reaffirming the bond that transcends words.

**Conclusion**

Mother’s Day is more than just a day on the calendar; it’s a celebration of the remarkable women who have left an indelible mark on our lives. It’s a time to honor their unwavering love, boundless sacrifices, and profound influence. So, as we celebrate Mother’s Day this year, let us do so with hearts full of gratitude, minds filled with memories, and spirits brimming with love for the incredible women who make our lives brighter each day. Happy Mother’s Day!

WHY INVEST IN REAL ESTATE?

Rental Income

Many investors buy real estate for the steady stream of income that it provides. Whether it’s a residential or a commercial property, renters or occupants pay the owner each month until the rental agreement or lease expires. This revenue stream can offer a stable income for retirees and others who are looking for an alternative source of income besides income from holding investment securities such as bonds or stocks. Income from real estate can also act as a hedge or protection against stock market downturns and rising prices of consumer goods.
