Hey Everyone,

Spring’s rolling in, and it feels like the right time to catch you up on what’s been happening with us. It’s been a mix of family fun, gym goals, and diving deep into real estate adventures.

Family Times and Fitness Goals

March’s a big month for us with a couple of birthdays – Bill’s son, little James, turned one, and it was a blast (messy, but in the best way). Dan’s new wife, Precious and a few others in the family celebrated their birthdays too. Dan and Precious are planning a small getaway to just chill and celebrate together.

Precious and Dan have been hitting the gym together, aiming for at least three times a week. It’s our “us” time, plus we get to stay active. It’s been great sticking to this routine and seeing the results.

We got together as a family for James 1st Birthday. It was construction themed with Bill bringing some of the big toys out for some fun family photos.

Every dinner item at the table had a construction themed name to go along to boot. Corrie did a great job getting everything prepared.

It was Daniel’s 30th this past February. Precious his wife took him out for a very nice meal to celebrate at the keg they were very generous with a huge piece of cake.

Daniel and Precious have been having a blast going to the gym together this year so far. They made it a goal to go to the gym at least 4 times a week this year and have been enjoying working out together as work out buddies and newly weds

Daniel was featured this past month on one of Canada’s largest real estate investing podcasts. He shared a little about our backstory of how we got into real estate, tips on development projects and benefits of partnering with a builder on projects. If real estate interests you it’s definitely worth checking out!

On the Work Front

Now, onto the work updates. We’re making solid progress on our real estate projects. Our coach house project in Oshawa is shaping up nicely, and we’re almost done with a duplex conversion for a client. Big win!

We’ve got the paperwork in for our first triplex in Oshawa and are crossing our fingers for an April start. And there’s a sixplex on the horizon for September – it’s a big deal for us and we’re pumped about getting that off the ground.

We are digging the first coach house in Oshawa. Since we are digging in the winter we are making sure to cover the ground with insulated tarps to keep it from freezing. This is a key step when building in the winter.

We were able to get the forms up and concrete poured in record time. From excavation start to pouring the walls was 5 days on this project. We are aiming to have this coach house done for this client near the beginning of May.

That’s pretty much the scoop for now. Thanks for all your support and for being part of our journey. We’ve got a lot going on, but it’s all exciting stuff. Can’t wait to share more updates with you soon.

Catch you later,

Dan and Bill
